Toronto is Canada’s most populated city. With attractions like the CN Tower, Wonderland, the Ontario Science Centre the ROM, and the list goes on, Toronto is also one of Canada’s most visited cities. Imagine how much pollution that ads up to! For example, most common mode of transportation in Toronto is by a personal vehicle. Toronto’s necessity: Going Green.
Living in Toronto can be unhealthy in many ways: Firstly breathing in all the car and building pollutions are terrible for one’s health. To add, fast food is much easier and quicker to access, hence the name ‘fast food.’ Living in a large city generally means that people are constantly busy and on the go, so purchasing a Big Mac is much simpler than a nutritious and chemical-free meal.
As Canada’s most populated city, there are plenty of schools. For example, the TDSB (Toronto District School Board) has over 500 elementary schools. As Toronto is so large, the neighborhoods’ wealth varies. Not all schools are fortunate enough to have a wide enough budget to meet everyone’s wants. An average Toronto school’s necessity:
