Earth Day!
At Green Students Fundraising, every day is Earth Day, but April 22 is when it’s celebrated by all! Make sure you continue or start new Eco-friendly habits on April 22. Tune into Breakfast Television on Earth Day to see us raising awareness at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School.
Non-Profit Eco Initiative
Lets take another step in the right direction, by taking another Eco initiative: For a discounted price, you can sell Klean Kanteens to raise awareness without making a profit. It’s a more affordable way for students to start using reusable water bottles, a step in the right direction.

Our Spring fundraiser has taken off. It’s success so far has really excited us for our Back to School fundraiser!
Although our Back to School fundraiser doesn’t officially start until August, your group can sign up now. The sooner, the better. This will give you more time to plan, prepare and promote.

Greening Shipping for Green Fundraising
When deciding on our shipping methods for launching our online fundraiser, we had to decide whether it was worthwhile to do shipments directly to people’s houses. There were three main factors at play.
The first was that it would cost our customers far more above the current shipping price. When the economy is in a tight spot, asking for even more money would not be beneficial.
The second was that it would take up a lot of our time which we could use for better purposes. More of our time means less money the schools or groups can raise.
The third and greenest factor was shipping to multiple homes rather than once to the school would greatly increase our carbon footprint. Financial costs aside, the cost on the planet, which we are directly trying to improve, would negate much of our groups actions. Green shipping means less shipping.
This is why we chose to ship only to the school or group. A solution where everyone will win.
Go Green Fundraiser
We have launched another new fundraising program at Green Students Fundraising. It is a discount Klean Kanteen fundaiser where instead of selling Klean Kanteens for a profit, your school or group can offer Klean Kanteens at cost for as low as $10 as a green initiative. Selling Klean Knateens at a lower price will end up having far better sales. Contact us for more information!
